Winter Storm December 11 to 12, 2008


An upper level trough of low pressure swept across the northeast part of the country from December 11, through 12th. At the surface a stationary front stretched from the Gulf States to the mid Atlantic region on December 11th. In response to the upper level trough moving across the area, an area of low pressure developed at the surface moved northward through late evening on December 12th.
