December 30th to 31st, 2007

An area of low pressure moved across the northeast parts of the United States Sunday evening through Monday morning. The storm system produced snow amounts ranging from 2 to 6 inches across the central and western parts of the area with higher amounts across the east.

The graphic below shows preliminary storm total snowfall from December 30th to the morning of December 31st. Appreciation is extended to Highway Departments, Cooperative Observers, SKYWARN spotters and Media for these reports.

For clarity, some locations listing below are not plotted on the map.
