October 28th to 29th, 2008 Heavy Snow

A cold front moved across the area on October 27, 2008 and became stationary over the eastern U.S. coast line through parts of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire. As an upper level low pressure system moved across the area through the 29th, an area of low pressure developed on the stationary front during the evening of the 27th. This area of low pressure system strengthen moved northward and away from the area through the 29th.
