Radar imagery at 18 UTC on the 1st indicated a large area of light snow across the entire area. A band of heavier snow was located from near Syracuse southeast toward the western Catskills, however that band was moving steadily south, and was not producing heavy snow accumulations. Snow accumulations across most of the area averaged 1 to 2 inches from mid-morning on the 1st through early afternoon.
