This 5 hour forecast indicates that the banding potential would be significantly reduced by 00z on the 26th. As was the case in the NAM and GFS forecasts, the frontogenesis at 00z was forecast to become less steeply sloped, and the reduced stability was forecast to not be co-located with the maxima of upward vertical motion.
