This observed snowfall plot indicates that the accumulating snow fell mainly at locations were the heaviest precipitation fell. Accumulations of 6 inches or more were confined to higher elevations, however even some valley locations received a few inches of snow during the time of heaviest precipitation during the afternoon on the 25th. Meanwhile, the Finger Lakes area, where less precipitation fell, received little if any snowfall.
