  • Severe weather and flash flooding developed during the afternoon on the 26th near a warm front over central New York
  • 2 tornadoes occurred, one associated with a supercell near the warm front west of Rome, and one on a bow echo south of the warm front east of Binghamton.
  • Rotational trends indicated significant rotation for several volume scans prior to tornado touchdown with the supercell, and a sudden development of rotation just prior to tornado touchdown on the leading edge of the bow echo.
