The National Weather Service office in Binghamton, New York is responsible for issuing Fire Weather
Forecasts, Red Flag Warnings and Fire Weather Watches for parts of Central
New York and Northeast Pennsylvania.
A winter storm will develop across the region tonight, lasting
through Wednesday and into Wednesday evening, as low pressure
intensifies along the eastern seaboard. This storm will move out
to sea Thursday, with a cold northwest flow, and lake-effect
