|None||No snow accumulation on roads expected, or no snowfall expected.|
|Low||Snow accumulation of < 0.5 inch per hour.|
|Medium||Snow accumulation 0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour.|
|High||Snow accumulation 1.5 to 3 inches per hour.|
|Extreme||Snow accumulation > 3 inches per hour snow accumulation.|
The Local Weather Threats graphics are generally VALID FOR A 24 HOUR PERIOD
from the time of issuance.
The graphics will be issued daily between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., and remain valid until 8 a.m. the next day.
Afternoon updates will be posted as time permits. As the weather threat increases throughout the day,
or becomes imminent, Watches and Warnings will be issued as appropriate. The highest possible threat
for the day will be highlighted for each county. On some maps multiple threats may be represented.
