Welcome to the web page of the NWS Binghamton Rain/Snow Monitor Network.
The rain and snow monitoring program in central New York and northeast Pennsylvania is a group of citizen volunteers
who collect routine, daily rainfall and snowfall data, and also monitor the weather during high impact events such
as heavy rainfall, snowfall, severe weather or flooding events.
Our program is now working in partnership with the "Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow" (CoCoRaHS) national network
to collect, display and archive the data provided.
