The National Climatic Data Center is the central repository for historical
weather records. This does not necessarily mean that they have
all weather data that may have been observed at a particular
location, but they are regarded as the most complete archive for
climatological data from the United States as a whole. They can be reached on internet at
lwf.ncdc.noaa.gov.
