Skywarn Spotters And Cooperative Observers

Attention: SKYWARN Spotters
The following is a link to the official NWS snowfall measurement policy: Snow Measurement Guidelines. Please note that while giving your reports to the office every few inches still is the local reporting criteria, it is important to not clear off your measuring surface for 6 hours. Taking a new value every 2 hours and clearing it off, for example, will give inflated reports. After about a week, this link will reside in the SKYWARN section under "Snowfall Measuring".
