The National Weather Service in Burlington Vermont announces its 2013 Open Burning Weather Awareness Campaign for Vermont and northern New York. Spring is upon us and people across the North Country begin to think about burning debris. The National Weather Service encourages you to be aware of the risk factors associated with open burning. All this week we will examine different aspects of weather, fuels, and fire that raise awareness to situations that have an impact when doing open burning.
