Regional Ice Cover Mar 7th, 2003

This image was taken at 10:15AM on March 7th.  Lake Ontario is mainly ice free, but this is more ice than normally seen for this date.  The entire northeast section near the St. Lawrence river is ice covered, and you can see quite a bit of ice out over the northern half of the lake around the Prince Edward Peninsula.  Lake Erie of course is fully ice covered, but you can pick out some interesting cracks in the ice if you look closely.
