Lake Effect Storm Fermi

This event did not last too long.  Although snow bands did develop for a period of time to the east of both lakes, there was a lot of other activity on the radar composite.  There is a suggestion however, off both lakes,  that the snow bands were downwind extensions of activity that had developed off the western Great Lakes.  If the convergence zone that develops off upwind lakes aligns properly with the convergence zone that develops on Lakes Erie and Lake Ontario then significant enhancement of the snowband is likely.
