Lake Effect Storm Galileo
| This was a very strong snow band. It produced snowfall rates of 5 inches an hour over the town of Highmarket in Lewis county on the Tug Hill. There were also several reports of lightning and thunder from this snow band. These reports came from our Highmarket snow spotter, another one of our volunteers who provide extremely important observations to the Buffalo NWS office throughout the year. |
