| In this US Composite radar image, you can see how far inland the band off Lake Ontario stretches. The strong, well aligned winds aloft probably had a lot to do with this feature. In addition however, there is most likely a connection to Lake Huron with this band, although without Canadian radar imagery we can not see the echoes off Lake Huron becasue they are too distant for US radars to see those shallow echo tops. |
