Lake Effect Storm Halite
| Click on the map on the left and you will get a loop of the Buffalo radar during the most intense part of the storm over northern Cayuga and Oswego counties. The Buffalo radar overshoots the storm across Oswego county. However, the map in the middle will give you one image of the Montague radar, which is close enough to "see" the storm. Finally, the map on the right will show you how the band evolved later in the weekend into an east wind band that pummeled the Canadian shore of Lake Ontario between Hamilton and Toronto. Caution, the loops take a long time to load. |
