Visible Satellite Loop

This is a really nice loop of the visible satellite imagery over the eastern Great Lakes during the afternoon of January 16, 2004.  By going through the loop you can easily see the motion of the clouds vs. the ice.  The ice cover on the northern and western parts of Lake Erie does not move, but the clouds do.  Lake Ontario meanwhile is almost completely ice free.
