Lake Erie ice cover Feb 14th, 2004
| This image was taken at 10:45AM on February 14th. Lake Erie is pretty much frozen over here, but I am sure that the strong winds that occurred for a day or so before this picture, likely moved the ice around a bit. There may be a bit of open water east of Long Point, but based on the 12Feb National Ice Cover image also available, it suggests that may not be all open water. As always, if you run the loop, you will see the difference between clouds (that move) and the ice (that does not move). |
