Visible
Satellite Loop

| This loop of the visible satellite imagery over Lake Erie shows quite a few rather large leads in the lake ice. There is a lot of cloud cover down on the west end of the lake and although it is obscuring the view of the ice, that end of the lake is quite shallow and ice-covered. You can also see a thin cloud shield across Lake Ontario, but the northeast end of the lake near the St. Lawrence still has significant ice cover.. |
