Lake Erie ice cover March 22nd, 2004
| This image was taken at 9:15AM on March 22nd. Under a couple of days of strong southwest winds, Lake Erie's ice cover once again congealed along the eastern end of the lake. Compare this image to last week and you will see how the ice had been pushed out into the lake by easterly winds last week. You can also see lake effect cloud streamers off Lake Huron under northwest flow here as well as the fresh snow cover over parts of southern Ontario and WNY. |
