With few official weather observation sites on the Great Lakes, the weather office is always looking for more observations from its trained weather spotters.  If you are interested in becoming a spotter, just read through the course material provided below to understand what we are looking for and how to take marine weather observations.  Then drop us an email and we will send you a marine decal like the one above.  Just affix to the dash on your boat and you can call toll free to give us weather observations when conditions warrant.
