An isolated thunderstorm moving across the north country spawned a weak tornado in Port Leyden, Lewis county. The tornado touched down near Denley Road downing several trees and branches. Large concrete blocks were moved. A large cattle feeder was lifted off the ground and moved fifty feet. No injuries were reported.
