...RAINFALL REPORTS FROM TODAY...

.SUMMARY...
A BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED THIS MORNING OVER THE 
CSRA. DUE TO A VERY MOIST ATMOSPHERE IN PLACE...THESE SLOW MOVING 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER PORTIONS OF 
SOUTHERN MCDUFFIE CO GA...SOUTHERN COLUMBIA CO GA...NORTHERN 
RICHMOND CO GA...AND WESTERN AIKEN CO SC. THE RAINFALL PROMPTED THE 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN COLUMBIA SC TO ISSUE AN URBAN AND
SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY...FOLLOWED BY A FLASH FLOOD WARNING...FOR 
THAT REGION THIS MORNING. NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FLOODING WERE RECEIVED. 
ADDITIONAL SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY DEVELOPED DURING THE 
AFTERNOON AND PROVIDED HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS NORTHERN COLUMBIA CO 
GA...CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN RICHMOND CO GA...AND WESTERN AND SOUTHERN 
AIKEN CO SC. THIS RAINFALL PROMPTED THE ISSUANCE OF AN URBAN AND 
SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY...AND REPORTS OF STREET FLOODING IN SOME 
LOCATIONS WAS RECEIVED.

2 1/2 HOURS FROM ABOUT 840 AM TO 1100 AM. DANIEL FIELD HAS 
RECEIVED 8.16 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR THIS MONTH.

AT AUGUSTA BUSH FIELD...3.25 INCHES OF THIS RAIN FELL IN ABOUT 
2 HOURS FROM 312 PM TO 500 PM. THE 4.66 INCH TOTAL ESTABLISHED A 
NEW RECORD RAINFALL AMOUNT FOR THE DATE. BUSH FIELD HAS RECEIVED 
6.93 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR THIS MONTH.
