THROUGH MARCH 11, 2008, THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CARIBOU
MAINE HAD RECORDED 170.1 INCHES OF SNOWFALL SINCE THE BEGINNING OF
THE 2007-2008 SNOWFALL SEASON. THIS SNOWFALL WAS THE 2ND GREATEST
SNOWFALL TOTAL SINCE RECORDS BEGAN IN 1939. SHOULD CARIBOU RECEIVE
CLIMATOLOGICALLY NORMAL SNOW FOR THE REMAINDER OF MARCH, APRIL AND
MAY (9.2 INCHES, 9.9 INCHES AND 0.6 INCHES, RESPECTIVELY), CARIBOU
WOULD END THE 2007-2008 SNOW SEASON WITH 189.8 INCHES OF SNOWFALL,
IT`S GREATEST SEASON EVER.
