The USGS river gauge serving the St. John River Basin in the vicinity of Fort Kent has been relocated. This web page is designed to provide you with links and information regarding the new gauge location, new flooding thresholds, contact information, and other resources.

The map below indicates the new gauge location, as well as the gauge's previous location. The original location of the gauge was located across the river from downtown Ft. Kent, now it is located down river in a more rural location. Click on the placemarker icons for more information.
