Or... Enter the latitude and longitude of the point to forecast in the appropriate fields. The point specified must fall within the boundaries of the map shown above. The latitude and longitude must be entered in decimal format, not minutes and seconds, and the longitude must be entered as a negative number to indicate west. After entering both, press the Forecast button.

If a forecast does not appear and you are thrown back to the WFO Caribou home page instead, then the latitude and longitude you entered was out of the bounds on the map.
Help on Gridpoint Forecasts

The Graphical Forecast works for land only. When selecting coastal points, if a completely blank page is returned, the software thinks you clicked on water. Press your browser's back button, then try again further inland. Use the map inside the graphical forecast itself, with its pan and zoom features, to re-specify your desired forecast point. This technique works especially well for islands including the ones that are not even displayed on the initial fully zoomed-out map.
