The "Hurricane Awareness Tour" will be making a stop in Savannah, Georgia and you are invited to take a FREE tour of a
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) P-3 "Hurricane Hunter" aircraft. This type of aircraft is used by researchers
to collect valuable data in and around tropical systems threatening the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean. Additional
aircraft will also be on display. |

Great opportunity to see a "Hurricane Hunter" plane as well as meet meteorologists from the National Weather Service in Charleston, SC, National Hurricane Center and Air Force Reserve. There will also be a brief presentation and booths highlighting hurricane safety/preparedness, as well as other emergency-related vehicles on display.
