A tornado touched down near Cochranton near the intersection of Stein Hill and Lausch Roads and then traveled northeast for about three quarters of a mile before dissipating. A barn and small cottage were completely destroyed. Three homes and another small barn sustained minor damage. Hundreds of trees were snapped along the damage path which was approximately 40 yards in width.
