A cold front will cross the commonwealth late this afternoon and early this evening. High pressure will build east into the region for Thursday with mainly sunny but cooler conditions. Dry and increasingly warm weather will begin Friday, and last right into early next week. The next chance of showers accompanying a cold front will occur late Monday or Monday night.
