An elongated area of upper level low pressure across Virginia will drift slowly to the north today, and influence our local weather through Friday. A ridge of high pressure will bring above normal temperatures through the upcoming holiday weekend. A cold frontal boundary will likely cross the region late Monday into early Tuesday ending this period of higher heat and humidity.
