A cold front sags south across the state this morning, before becoming nearly stationary from the Ohio Valley to the Virginia Coast tonight and Wednesday. A weak wave on the front will then pass south of the region on Wednesday, bringing some light snow to mainly Central and southern sections of the Keystone State. A more significant cold front will likely push through the region late Friday, potentially delivering a brief shot of arctic air for the weekend and early next week.
