October 2007 will go down as the warmest October on record at both Williamsport and Harrisburg.

The average temperature at Williamsport for the month was 59.4 degrees, which was 8.1°F above normal, and was 0.6°F above the previous record of 58.8 degrees set back in 1971.

The average temperature at Harrisburg for the month was 62.0 degrees, which was 7.5°F above normal, and was 0.5°F above the previous record of 61.5 degrees set back in 1984.
