Air Quality

As a public service, the Central Pennsylvania National Weather Service Forecast Office in State College PA will redistribute Official Air Quality Forecasts produced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and current Air Quality Index (AQI) reports from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). In addition, National Weather Service Guidance Products used by state and local air quality forecasters are provided to aid in the issuance of Air Quality Index (AQI) forecasts.

Official Air Quality Point Forecasts issued by state and local air quality forecasters, and additional information on air quality can be found at the EPA's AIRnow website.
