    Note: The radar cannot (yet) determine the precipitation type. Wet snowflakes or ice pellets will return high amounts of energy to the radar, and may lead to over-estimation of precipitation. See a Legend (pop-up)
    Snowfall intensity can be inferred from the observations by reading the visibility - found to the left of the station circle, along with a current weather-type (snow/rain/freezing rain) symbol. Heavy snow restricts visibility greatly/sometimes to near-zero (a whiteout).
