Snowfall Forecasts Summary

How much snow (or freeezing rain) will fall in my area?

These Storm Total and 6-hour Snowfall (and Ice) Accumulation Images are directly from the National Digital Forecast Database (NDFD). All forecast elements may be seen at the graphical forecasts page for PA.
To get a point-specific 7-day forecast, you should enter your "City, ST" (or ZIPcode) in the box to the left, and read the detailed, Grid-point forecast for your location (you can click on the tan map on the page that shows up to get a different point's forecast). For even more information, you can select the "Hourly Weather Graph" at the bottom-right of the page that displays (under "Additional Forecasts and Information"). The snowfall accumulations on the Hourly Weather Graph will be detailed in a light-yellow line just above the chance of snow bar graph. The grids will be separated in appropriate time blocks, depending on the timing of each storm, exactly as the forecasters have painted it.
