...SUMMARY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS CONFIRMED A TORNADO
NEAR LOWVILLE IN LEWIS COUNTY NEW YORK ON 07/08/2014.

THE INITIAL TOUCHDOWN OF THE TORNADO WAS NEAR THE CORNER OF GARDNER 
AND EAGLE FACTORY ROAD NEAR WEST LOWVILLE. ALTHOUGH THE PATH LENGTH 
WAS 10 MILES LONG...THE TORNADO WAS NOT ON THE GROUND FOR THE ENTIRE 
TIME. THE LAST SIGNS OF DAMAGE WERE FOUND IN THE CROGHAN AREA.

SOME OF THE TORNADO DAMAGE INCLUDES: A BARN HEAVILY DAMAGED AND TRUCK
OVERTURNED.  A BARN WITH 50 COWS INSIDE WAS FLATTENED...WITH 10 COWS
STILL UNACCOUNTED FOR. A GARAGE WAS TOTALLY LEVELED...WITH THE CAR 
INSIDE SUSTAINING HEAVY DAMAGE. IN ALL ABOUT A DOZEN BUILDINGS WERE 
DAMAGED BY THIS TORNADO.

THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

EF1...WIND SPEEDS 86 TO 110 MPH.
EF2...WIND SPEEDS 111 TO 135 MPH.
EF3...WIND SPEEDS 136 TO 165 MPH.
