...BRIEF HEAVY SQUALL OF SNOW EARLY THIS MORNING...

A SQUALL OF HEAVY SNOW ALONG AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT OVER LAKE
ONTARIO WILL MOVE ONSHORE EARLY THIS MORNING FROM ORLEANS COUNTY
EASTWARD ACROSS THE GREATER ROCHESTER AREA TO WAYNE AND NORTHERN
CAYUGA COUNTIES FROM 6 AM TO 8 AM. SNOWFALL RATES WILL BRIEFLY
EXCEED ONE INCH PER HOUR AS THIS BAND MOVES THROUGH...HOWEVER THE
HEAVIER SNOW WILL ONLY LAST FOR LESS THAN AN HOUR AT ANY ONE
LOCATION. 

TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL RAPIDLY DETERIORATE AFTER 6AM WITH ROADS
BECOMING SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY. VISIBILITY WILL DROP TO LESS
THAN A QUARTER MILE FOR A BRIEF PERIOD OF TIME. MOTORISTS SHOULD
USE CAUTION AND ALLOW SOME EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION
EARLY THIS MORNING.
