...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT MUCH OF WESTERN
NEW YORK EARLY THIS EVENING...

* AT 3:42 PM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  CONTINUED TO INDICATE A BROAD AREA OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW
  ACROSS MUCH OF THE NIAGARA FRONTIER AND THE WESTERN FRONTIER
  EARLY THIS EVENING. THIS BROAD AREA OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO
  SLOWLY DRIFT EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THE EVENING
  HOURS. EXPECT SNOWFALL RATES OF UP TO HALF AN INCH PER HOUR IN
  THE HEAVIEST OF SNOWFALL ALONG WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES.

THIS INCLUDES THE NEW YORK THRUWAY BETWEEN EXITS 47 AND 61.


IF TRAVELING ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER 
SOME SNOW COVERED ROADS AND SLIPPERY SPOTS. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL
ALLOW FOR PLENTY OF EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
