...SLOW-MOVING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED VARIED
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER PORTIONS OF THE SC MIDLANDS AND GA CENTRAL 
SAVANNAH RIVER AREA LATE IN THE DAY MONDAY. HIGHEST TOTALS RANGED
FROM ABOUT ONE TO TWO INCHES BUT WERE LOCALIZED AND NOT EXTENSIVE.

A BROAD AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED WELL OFFSHORE WILL CONTINUE 
TO CIRCULATE VERY WARM AND MOIST AIR ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH
WEDNESDAY...WITH A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE EXTENDING DOWN FROM
THE NORTH. THESE FEATURES WILL SUPPORT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE HOTTEST AND MOST UNSTABLE MID-TO-LATE
AFTERNOON HOURS. 
  
NO SIGNIFICANT STAGE CHANGES ARE EXPECTED ON AREA RIVERS THROUGH 
THURSDAY.
