DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1134 AM EST MON NOV 17 2014

...ALL RIVER FORECAST POINTS WERE BELOW FLOOD STAGE THIS MORNING...

SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WERE ONGOING LATE THIS MORNING...
AHEAD OF APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE AND A TRAILING COLD FRONT.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE-QUARTER TO ONE-HALF INCH ARE LIKELY OVER
PORTIONS OF THE AREA THROUGH THE AFTERNOON UNTIL FRONTAL PASSAGE.

RUNOFF WILL NOT BE ENOUGH FOR ANY SUBSTANTIAL STAGE RISES ON AREA
RIVERS. HOWEVER...MUCH COLDER CANADIAN AIR WILL BE MOVING BACK IN
TONIGHT...AND REMAIN THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. THEREFORE...POWER
GENERATING ACTIVITY AT UPSTREAM RESERVOIRS MAY RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT
WATER RELEASES AND AT LEAST MINOR STAGE RISES ON SOME AREA RIVERS.
