* LOCATIONS...SHORES BORDERING THE SOUTH SHORE BAYS OF NASSAU 
  AND SOUTHWEST SUFFOLK COUNTIES...INCLUDING THE BARRIER BEACHES.

* TIDAL DEPARTURES...1 1/2 TO 2 FEET DURING TONIGHT'S HIGH TIDES.

* TIMING...WATER LEVELS WILL APPROACH MINOR BENCHMARKS AROUND THE
  TIMES OF TONIGHT'S HIGH TIDE CYCLES.

* IMPACTS...MINOR INUNDATION OF LESS THAN 1 FOOT ABOVE GROUND IS
  POSSIBLE ACROSS THE MOST VULNERABLE SHORE ROADS AND/OR ADJACENT
  PROPERTIES DUE TO THE HEIGHT OF STORM TIDE OR WAVE SPLASH OVER.

* TIDAL DEPARTURES...2 1/2 TO 3 1/2 FEET.

* TIMING...MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING AROUND THE TIMES OF THE 
  HIGH TIDE CYCLES THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...UP TO 2 TO 3 FT OF INUNDATION OF VULNERABLE SHORE 
  ROADS AND/OR ADJACENT PROPERTIES DUE TO THE HEIGHT OF STORM 
  TIDE OR WAVE SPLASH OVER. IMPACT ON PROPERTY IS LIKELY...BUT 
  THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO LIFE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS EXPECTED OR
OCCURRING. COASTAL RESIDENTS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD BE ALERT
FOR RISING WATER...AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO PROTECT LIFE
AND PROPERTY.

* TIDAL DEPARTURES...2 TO 2 1/2 FEET.

* TIMING...MINOR FLOODING AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE CYCLES 
  INTO EARLY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...UP TO 1 TO 2 FT OF INUNDATION OF THE MOST VULNERABLE 
  SHORE ROADS AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES DUE TO HEIGHT OF STORM 
  TIDE OR WAVE SPLASH OVER AND HEAVY RAIN. SIGNIFICANT BEACH 
  EROSION AND LIKELY WASH-OVERS ONTO BEACH ROADS AND PROPERTIES 
  ALONG THE ATLANTIC OCEAN FACING BEACHES. THERE IS NO 
  SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO LIFE AND ANY IMPACT ON PROPERTY IS 
  MINIMAL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
