...SLIPPERY SPOTS TO DEVELOP OVERNIGHT WITH POSSIBLE SQUALLS...

DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF REFREEZING SNOW MELT AND SCATTERED SNOW
SQUALLS...SLIPPERY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVERNIGHT.
SLIPPERY SPOTS ARE ALREADY DEVELOPING ON SOME ROADWAYS...PARKING
LOTS...OVERPASSES...AND DRIVEWAYS EVEN WITH AIR TEMPERATURES IN
THE MIDDLE 30S. MOTORISTS AND PEDESTRIANS ARE URGED TO USE
CAUTION.

LATER ON TONIGHT...A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
AND WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS AND SQUALLS.
THE SQUALLS WILL BE MOST NUMEROUS IN THE MOUNTAINS OF NEW
HAMPSHIRE...BUT A FEW WILL LIKELY MAKE IT TO THE COASTAL PLAIN
AFTER 3 AM. NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE ONE...BUT THOSE THAT DO WILL
LIKELY SEE BRIEF VISIBILITY REDUCTIONS TO UNDER A QUARTER MILE AND
PICK UP A QUICK HALF INCH TO ONE INCH OF SNOW. MORE
IMPORTANTLY...SEVERAL AREAS MAY STILL BE ABOVE FREEZING WHEN
SQUALLS APPROACH. THIS WILL CAUSE THE INITIAL SNOWFALL TO
MELT...AND THEN QUICKLY FREEZE AS THE TEMPERATURES DROP.
THEREFORE...SLIPPERY SPOTS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATER TONIGHT.
THE SCATTERED SQUALL ACTIVITY SHOULD SWEEP OFFSHORE BY DAWN.
