AT 844 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED NEAR STONES BAY...OR 7 NM WEST OF NEW RIVER INLET...MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 35 KNOTS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
STONES BAY...THE VICINITY OF SNEADS FERRY BRIDGE...AR355...
THE VICINITY OF HIGHWAY 24-17 BRIDGE...
MORGAN BAY AND NEW RIVER INLET.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER 
WAVES...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE
