...GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED OVER THE EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
RIVERS...SOUNDS...AND COASTAL WATERS EARLY THIS MORNING...

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE AREA EARLY THIS MORNING WAS
PRODUCING GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS OVER ALL OF THE EASTERN NORTH
CAROLINA WATERS. THROUGH 8 AM MARINERS CAN EXPECT SUSTAINED WINDS
10 TO 20 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS WHICH WILL PRODUCE CHOPPY
WAVES AND STEEP SEAS.

WINDS ARE FORECAST TO DIMINISH TO 10 TO 15 KNOTS DURING THE
AFTERNOON.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED TO USE CAUTION IF UNDERWAY EARLY THIS
MORNING AND BE PREPARED FOR GUSTY WINDS AND CHOPPY WAVES ON AREA
WATERWAYS.
