 COASTAL WATERS FROM VIRGINIA-NORTH CAROLINA BORDER TO CURRITUCK
LIGHT OUT TO 20 NM...

AT 620 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR CURRITUCK...MOVING NORTHEAST AT
25 KNOTS.

THE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR... 

COROLLA...
DUCK...AND
CURRITUCK LIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
