A MARINE WEATHER STATEMENT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
  CHESAPEAKE BAY FROM NEW POINT COMFORT TO LITTLE CREEK VA... 

AT 441 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS... 
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE  
FROM TUE MARSHES LIGHT TO 6 NM NORTHEAST OF BURWELL BAY...MOVING 
SOUTHEAST AT 15 KNOTS.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  TUE MARSHES LIGHT AROUND 450 PM EDT.
  NEW POINT COMFORT AROUND 455 PM EDT.
  YORK SPIT REEF AROUND 505 PM EDT.
  POQUOSON AROUND 510 PM EDT.
  THE HUMP...THIMBLE SHOALS...BUOY 36A...PLANTATION LIGHT...BLUEFISH
ROCK AND CAPE CHARLES HARBOR AROUND 530 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER 
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
