Upper jet streaks south of New England and tracking across Florida have
strengthened, seen as darkening (drying and subsidence) in water vapor
imagery, and confirmed in the 300 Mb analyses
Note upper impulse in Canada just north of the Dakotas, this is the
upper impulse that tracked around the upper low to support the cyclogenesis
off the northeast U.S. nearly 36 hours later
The upper ridge along the west coast of the U.S. continues to be highly
amplified
