...PATCHY DENSE FOG REPORTED IN THE SOUTHERN CHESAPEAKE BAY...

A VERY MOIST AIRMASS OVER THE MID ATLANTIC STATES...IS RESULTING 
IN AREAS OF DENSE FOG ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND THE SOUTHERN 
CHESAPEAKE BAY EARLY THIS MORNING. AT 2 AM...A MARINER REPORTED 
VISIBILITY NEAR ONE HALF MILE AROUND OLD POINT COMFORT...HOWEVER 
LAND BASED REPORTS SHOWED ONLY VERY LIGHT FOG IN PLACES.

VISIBILITY WILL REMAIN QUITE VARIABLE IN FOG THROUGH SUNRISE 
THIS MORNING. AN AREA OF PRECIPITATION...MOVING IN FROM THE 
SOUTHWEST...MAY ACTUALLY BRING TEMPORARILY IMPROVED VISIBILITIES 
BETWEEN 3 AND 6 AM.

MARINERS...OPERATING IN THE SOUTHERN CHESAPEAKE BAY EARLY THIS 
MORNING...SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN VISBIBILITY...DUE 
TO PATCHY FOG.
