WX CODER
Web Xmitted Cooperative Observer Data Encoder Report
For those in the Cooperative Observer Program with an "online" computer, we now have a program called "WxCoder" that allows you to send in your observations daily, giving the NWS real time access to your data.
This program utilizes web technology to allow a user login which then identifies your station, accepts your daily entries and retains that data for future use by NWS and yourself.
WxCoder also has a B-91 feature that allows you to print your form. Once the daily data is entered, we here at the NWS can go in and review your data and print your form eliminating the need for you to mail your form at the end of each month.
For more information on WxCoder in eastern New York and adjacent western New England, contact Timothy Scrom, Observing Program Leader, Albany NY.
