The Sixth Northeast Regional Operational Workshop (NROW) at the University at Albany will be held 2-3 November 2004, at the Center for Environmental Science and Technology Management Auditorium, 251 Fuller Road, Albany, New York on the University at Albany Campus.  The workshop will be cosponsored by the National Weather Service and the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, University at Albany, under the auspices of the Cooperative Institute for the Prediction of Hydrometeorological Hazards in the Northeastern United States. The American Meteorological Society is a cooperating organization.   No registration fee will be charged, however registration is mandatory either by fax, letter, conference web page, or e-mail by 15 October 2004.   The deadline for submission of abstracts is 8 October 2004.  Abstracts should be submitted electronically by email.  Abstracts, registration forms and fees should be sent to NROW Steering Committee, c/o Warren R. OFFICE LOCATION: The office is in Suite B300 on the third floor of the Center for Environmental Science and Technology Management (CESTM). CESTM is on the campus of the University at Albany, one of the four major centers of the State University of New York (SUNY). To get to CESTM, use exit 2 - Fuller Road - from I-90. Follow Fuller Road one block south of Washington Avenue and turn right on Tricentennial Drive. From Tricentennial, turn right at the stop sign into the CESTM parking area. 

From the Albany Airport, exit the airport following the signs to interstate 87.  Head south on I-87 (Northway).  Take I-87 south until it ends and turn to the left onto Route 20 (Western Avenue).  Travel a short distance past Stuyvesant Plaza and take a left at the light onto Fuller Road.  Turn left on Tricentennial Drive. From Tricentennial, turn right at the stop sign into the CESTM parking area.
