The combination of a slow moving cold front, warm temperatures and deep moisture produced a period of heavy rainfall
from late Sunday night through most of Monday. In addition, the warm temperatures caused the snow pack across
area to melt. Rainfall amount of 1 to 2 inches and the snow melt caused flooding across parts of the area.
This is a mosaic of National Weather Service radars across parts of the northeast. The loop is comprised of 39 images, each image is
a snapshot of precipitation near the top the hour. Because of the amount of images, it may take a minute or so (depending on your internet connection) for the loop to load and start. You will need Java installed to view the loop.
Important note about using the Java Plug-in If you or your users have installed the Java Plug-in to use with their browsers, please alert them to the necessity of adding a "Java Runtime Option" using the plug-in setup program - especially if they get an OutOfMemory Error. Please
